SETTING UP YOUR WORKSTATION
The first step in setting up an office chair is to establish the desired height of the individual’s desk or workstation. This decision is determined primarily by the type of work to be done and by the height of the person using the office chair.
✓ Correct Posture

Keep your head upright and over your shoulders

Incorrect Posture
2. Eyes
Look slightly downward (30° range from horizontal line of sight) without bending from the neck
3. Back
Your back should be supported by the backrest of the chair that promotes the natural curve of the spine
4. Arms
Elbows should be bent at 90°, forearms horizontal. Shoulders should be relaxed but not depressed
5. Legs
6. Feet
Keep your feet fully supported on the floor. If this isn't possible, then the feet should be fully supported by a footrest
